“Louis XIII to Melchior de Sabran, Dijon, 28 March 1631” (BnF Baluze 155 f. 79, DECODE R2748) recorded George Lasry’s 2022 decipherment of the King’s letter. The same cipher was used in Sabran’s letter-books of 1633 and 1635, so the letter now has one entry with them:
